Bhubaneswar: Bollywood chartbuster in the 90’s Jab Bhi Koi Ladki Dekhun Mera Dil Deewana Bole, Ole Ole! Ole! Ole Ole Ole from Saif Ali Khan-Kajol starrer ‘Yeh Dillagi’ is still enough to fill love in our minds and make us start humming at a time when the Hindi film music has already gone for a makeover.

Sameer Anjaan, popularly known as Sameer, the man who penned this foot-tapping number and many heart touching songs will speak about his journey at an event in Odisha capital next month.

He will be attending Mystic Kalinga- an international festival of poetry, performance in Bhubaneswar during December 22-23 where the lyricist will reveal many interesting tales behind his thousands of songs.

Started his career as a lyricist in 1983 with Bekhabar, Sameer has entered the coveted Guinness World Records last year for penning the most number of songs in Bollywood: 3,524 for 650 films in a 33-year-long career.

Films like Beta, Saajan, Raja Babu, Coolie No. 1, Raja Hindustani, Anjaam, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Fiza, Dhadkan, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Devdas, Raaz Dil and Aashiqui established him as the undisputed champion of romantic songs. He has three Filmfare awards in his three-decade long career in Bollywood.

Sameer’s collaboration with Kumar Sanu and Udit Narayan made the ‘90s the most musical decade of the Hindi films and people are still recalling those days.

Aseem (Transcending Boundaries) is the Central Theme of the event.  Over 100 poets, leading literary figures like Ramakanta Rath, Sitakanta Mahapatra, Jayanta Mohapatra, Pratibha Ray, Pratibha Satpathy, Soubhagya Mishra, Hrishikesh Mallick, Gourahari Das, Arundhathi Subramaniam, Sagar Sarhadi, Jayanta Kripalani, Fani Mohanty, Paramita Satpathy, Keki Daruwala, Kedar Mishra among others will attend the event.

World renowned mystic and yogi Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev will inaugurate the event and join as the Chief Guest and keynote speaker. He will speak on his new book Adiyogi: The Source of Yoga.
