Cuttack: In yet another instance of increasing crime rate challenging law and order in the state, a sweets stall was attacked by miscreants in broad daylight in silver city Cuttack today.

According to reports, two miscreants on a bike hurled bomb at a sweets stall located at Khannagar area and fled from the spot.

Though no casualty was reported so far, the bomb attack on a shop at posh area of Cuttack city indicates deteriorating law and order situation.

Badambadi police initiated probe into the incident.
