Bombs hurled at house in Cuttack; 1 nabbed

Cuttack: Two bike-borne miscreants hurled bombs at a house at Bhutia Sahi at Dagarpada under Lalbag police limits here today. However, no casualty or injury was reported in the mishap.

Police managed to nab one of the miscreants and are interrogating him.

Sources said two miscreants came on a bike and hurled three bombs at a house at Bhutia Sahi near Dagarpada Hanuman temple at around 1.30 PM. On receiving information, police swung into action and nabbed one of them while another managed to escape.

The cops also seized one unexploded bomb from the spot. However, the exact reason behind the bombing is yet to be ascertained.
