BPUT students demand reopening of technical institutions at earliest

Bhubaneswar: A group of BPUT students today met Skill Development and Technical Education Minister Premananda Nayak here demanding reopening of its affiliated institutions.

After the meeting, the Minister said a meeting will soon be held to take a decision in this regard.

“We are facing a lot of inconveniences during online classes due to poor network connectivity. Our studies have been affected totally over the last one year. Many students don’t have proper infrastructure to attend online classes. We demand that our physical classes be resumed at the earliest,” said a student.

Earlier on July 17, Odisha Government announced to reopen schools (both Government and private) for Class 10 and 12 students. Physical classes of of Class 10 and 12 students will reopen from July 26.
