Bhubaneswar: Koraput district registered its maiden COVID-19 case as two more persons tested positive for the virus in Odisha today, official sources said.

The two have been identified as a 22-year-old male health worker of Dasmantpur in Koraput and a 32-year-old man of Balasore, sources said.

While the health worker was asymptomatic, the person from Balasore has travel history to West Bengal. The staff nurse of Koraput had come from Kolkata on April 14 to join duty and he was subsequently quarantined and tested due to travel history. However, he had not joined work, sources added.
