Bhubaneswar: As many as 7 more COVID-19 patients died in Odisha, official sources said today. While 6 of them died due to COVID-19, one succumbed to other health issues.
Those who died due to COVID-19 while undergoing treatment at hospitals have been identified as a 45-year-old man of Ganjam district who was also suffering from Diabetes and Hypertension, a 67-year-old man of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes, Hypertension and Chronic Kidney Disease, a 63-year-old man of Ganjam district, a 40-year-old man of Cuttack district, a 72-year-old man of Ganjam district who was also suffering from Diabetes, Heart disease and Chronic Kidney Disease, and a 49-year-old man of Ganjam district who was also suffering from Diabetes, the Health Department said.
On the other hand, a 17-year-old COVID-19 male patient of Ganjam passed away due to terminal Lung Cancer, the department said.
With this, COVID toll in Odisha mounted to 70 while 21 COVID-19 patients have died of other health problems till date.
