Bhubaneswar: Number of COVID-19 cases in Odisha rose to 68 as seven persons tested positive for the virus yesterday, Health and Family Welfare Department sources said.
Out of the seven persons, five are from Bhadrak and two from Balasore, sources added. A two-year-old girl and a 32-year-old man are the patients from Balasore while those of Bhadrak are 48-year-old man, 55-year-old man, 57-year-old man , 58-year-old man and 66-year-old man.
As many as 951 samples were tested yesterday while a total of 10,641 samples have been tested so far in the state.
The number of active COVID-19 cases in Odisha stood at 43 while 24 persons have been cured and discharged from hospitals till date.
