Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) today announced its candidates for the forthcoming bye-elections to Balasore and Tirtol Assembly seats.

The party nominated Swarup Kumar Das for Balasore Assembly Constituency and Bijaya Shankar Das for Tirtol bypoll.

Yesterday, the BJP had announced its candidates – Manas Kumar Dutta and Raj Kishore Behera for the bypolls.

The bye-election to Balasore and Tirtol Assembly seats is scheduled on November 3, 2020.
