Three test positive for COVID-19 in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar: As many as three persons of Odisha capital tested positive for COVID-19 today, Health & Family Welfare Department said.

They have been identified as residents of Bomikhal in the city. With this, the total number of coronavirus cases in the state mounted to nine (cured 2, active 7).

Earlier in the day, a resident of Cuttack having travel history to Delhi tested positive for COVID-19 and became the 6th coronavirus patient of the state. He had attended the Tablighi Jamaat event at Nizamuddin Markaz in Delhi, which has now emerged as coronavirus hotspot.

Of the nine coronavirus positive cases in Odisha, seven were diagnosed in Bhubaneswar and one each in Bhadrak and Cuttack.
