Brother-sister duo drowns in pond in Odisha’s Kendrapara

Kendrapara: In a tragic incident, a minor brother-sister duo drowned in a pond at Daanigiri village under Rajkanika police limits in Odisha’s Kendrapara district, today.

The deceased have been identified as Mamuni Behera (7) and Biswajit Behera (3).

According to reports, the two were playing near the pond when both slipped into the water body and met watery grave. Later, family members spotted the duo floating in the pond.

The two were rushed to the Rajkanika Community Health Centre, where doctor declared them dead.
