Brother-sister duo killed in snakebite in Odisha's Sundargarh

Sundargarh: A brother-sister duo died after reportedly being bitten by a venomous snake at Subulia village under Sadar police limits in Odisha's Sundargarh district.

The deceased, identified as Barsha Dandasena (13) and her brother Abinash (8), were sleeping inside their house late last night, when the reptile bit them.

They were rushed to the Ispat General Hospital (IGH) in Rourkela, where doctor declared them brought dead.

A pall of gloom descended on the village after the death of the siblings.
