Suspicious powder packets seized from accident survivors in Odisha’s Bhadrak

Bhadrak, Mar 23:

Police seized around 100 small packets suspectedly containing brown sugar from two accident survivors in Bhadrak district of Odisha this morning.

The injured have been identified as Adityanath Panda (20) of Laxmisagar area and Babu Sahoo (19) of Dumuduma area in Bhubaneswar.

According to reports, two persons were injured today in an accident at Aradi Square under Bhadrak Rural police station limits in the district. The incident took place after their bike hit a stone chips loaded truck.

While rescuing the injured youth police found the banned drugs in their possession and seized four mobile phones.

They are suspected to be involved in brown sugar smuggling, informed a police official.

Further investigation is on.
