BSF men recover 10 kilo landmine in Odisha’s Koraput

Narayanpatna, Jun 16:

Border Security Force (BSF) personnel today recovered a landmine weighing around 10 kilos from under a culvert near Anchalpur on Narayanpatna-Podapadar road in Odisha’s Koraput district.

A BSF team led by Podapadar camp commandant Subhas Kumar Verma which was on its way to Narayanpatna discovered the landmine and defused it, reports said.

It’s suspected that Maoists could have planted the landmine targeting BSF personnel, reports added.
