Budget Day: Pandemonium continues in Odisha Assembly

Bhubaneswar: The fourth day of the budget session at Odisha Assembly today continued to witness logjam with the Opposition creating din in the House over farmer and unemployment issues.

Unable to run the House, Speaker Pradip Kumar Amat adjourned the House till 3 PM today.

Soon after commencement of Question Hour, Congress members rushed to the well of the House targeting the Odisha Government over farmer issues. Besides, BJP legislators stood up and staged protest over unemployment in the State.

The Speaker adjourned the House till 11.30 AM and again till 3 PM after the stalemate continued in the Assembly.

Worth mentioning, Finance Minister Sashibhusan Behera is scheduled to present the interim budget in the Assembly today.
