Bhubaneswar: The budget session of the 16th State Legislative Assembly will commence from June 25, first after the formation of new government in Odisha.

The session will begin with speech by the Governor Ganeshi Lal in the House.

As per the schedule for the session, the state budget for the year 2019-20 will be tabled in the House on June 28, a day after Deputy Speaker election.

There will be 30 business days during the session from June 25 till August 8.

The first phase of the budget session will continue till July 2. The second phase of the session will commence from July 12 to August 8.
