Bus fares hiked in Odisha. Here’s new rate

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today increased bus fares across all categories under the automatic fare adjustment mechanism.

The fares of ordinary and express buses were hiked by 2 paise per km and that of deluxe and AC deluxe buses by 4 paise per km.

The fare for ordinary buses will now be 67 paise per km as against 65 paise per km and the fare for express buses has been increased to 70 paise from 68 paise per km.

Similarly, deluxe category buses will now charge 95 paise per km as against 91 paise earlier and passengers travelling in AC Deluxe buses will have to shell out Rs 1.17 instead of the existing Rs 1.13 paise per km.
