Bus overturns in Odisha’s Khordha: 2 killed, 20 injured

Khordha: At least two persons died and 20 others sustained injuries as the bus in which they were travelling overturned near Pubu Sahi under Town police limits in Odisha’s Khordha district, today.

The ill-fated bus ‘Narayani’, bearing registration number OR 05W 1075, was heading towards Kalapathar from Bhubaneswar carrying around 50 passengers.

Driver of the vehicle lost control over the wheels near Pubu Sahi, as a result of which it turned turtle killing two passengers on the spot.

Police and locals rescued the victims and admitted them to the Khordha District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.
