Close shave for passengers as bus turns turtle in Odisha

Rourkela: A major mishap was averted after a private bus en-route to Rourkela overturned on NH 143 at Darajinga near Lahunipada in Sundergarh district today.

While no casualty was reported in the mishap, 10 passengers, who sustained injuries in the mishap, were rushed to the Rourkela Government Hospital (RGH) and Primary Health Center (CHC) at Lahunipada.

According to reports, the bus carrying passengers from Palahada to Rourkela turned turtle after the axle of the bus broke and the driver lost control over the vehicle.

After getting information, Lahunipada police reached the spot and began an investigation into the incident.
