Bhubaneswar: Ace para shuttler from Odisha, Pramod Bhagat, won gold for India at BWF Para Badminton World Championships in Tokyo.
Bhagat defended his god medal in men’s singles SL3 at the international event by defeating Nitesh Kumar in straight games on Sunday. He clinched his 4th singles gold beating Kumar 21-19, 21-19 in 53 minutes.

With this, Indian Para Badminton Team won 2 Gold, 2 Silver and 12 Bronze medals at BWF Para Badminton World Championships held between Nov 1 and 6 in Tokyo.
Yesterday, Bhagat had defeated Japan’s Daisuke Fujihara 22-20, 21-14 to enter the men’s singles SL3 finals of BWF Para Badminton World Championships.
