Cabinet decision: CRUT to procure 200 e-buses soon

Bhubaneswar: The state government will procure 200 new electric buses to strengthen urban mobility in the capital region.

The Odisha Cabinet led by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today approved the bidding process for procurement of the new electric buses by the Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT). The new buses will further strengthen the ‘Mo Bus’ service in the capital region, said an official.

The CRUT is now operating 305 buses under the Mo Bus fleet in the capital region and 100 buses at Rourkela. It has initiated process for the procurement of 200 electric buses (AC) to strengthen Mo Bus service in the capital region, added the official.
