Candidate dies of cardiac arrest during rural polls in Odisha

Brahmagiri, Feb 13:

In a shocking incident, a Panchayat Samiti Member candidate, identified as Dilip Kumar Jena, breathed his last in Puri district of Odisha today, on polling day.

Jena suffered from cardiac arrest while he was appealing to voters near polling booth to vote for him this morning.

He was rushed to hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.

He was contesting in Titipa panchayat under Krushnaprasad block in the district.
