Car catches fire near Grand Road in Odisha’s Puri

Puri: A car moving towards Balagandi was gutted after it caught fire at government medical square near Grand Road in the pilgrim city here.

However, no casualty was reported in the incident.

The incident took place at night on Friday, just 20 metre away from a petrol pump. The cause behind the fire is yet to be clear.

Reports said that the car was running on gas.

The frightened locals informed the fire services after the car caught fire on the road. The fire tenders rushed the spot to douse the flame.

All the passengers travelling in the car were safe as they had alighted from the vehicle.
