A person was killed two others sustained injuries when a car in which they were travelling dashed into a roadside tree on NH-143 at Lathikatha in Odisha's Rourkela city this morning.

The deceased and injured were yet to be identified.
On being informed about the accident, local police rushed to the spot and rescued the victims. They were admitted to a nearby hospital, sources said.
