Carcass of female elephant recovered in Odisha’s Angul

Angul: A female elephant was found dead near Badakheta village under Purunakot police limits in Odisha’s Angul district today.

Carcass of the pachyderm was found in a decomposed state and recovered by Forest Department officials.

The animal, whose age is estimated to be ten years, died around 10 days ago due to an infection, an official said. The carcass was buried after post-mortem.
