Cattle-laden truck turns turtle in Odisha’s Jajpur; 5 cows killed

Jajpur: As many as five cows were killed after a cattle-laden truck overturned on NH 16 here in the district.

According to reports, the truck carrying cattle was enroute to Kolkata from Khordha. The vehicle turned turtle when the driver lost control over it near Rathia village on the NH in the morning.

While five cattle died on the spot, several others were wounded in the incident.

On receiving information, police reached the site and seized the injured cattle.
