As Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Shivali Sharma was on leave on Wednesday, the investigation report was filed in a sealed envelope before a link magistrate, Rakesh Kumar Singh, who set September 28 as the next date of hearing.

The court on December 4, 2015, had ordered the CBI to further investigate the case against Tytler, referring to arms dealer Abhishek Verma’s statement that indicated Tytler had tried to influence a witness.

The court had said it should be found out whether Verma’s statement was authentic.

Verma, in his statement, had told the CBI that Tytler had tried to influence one of the witnesses by giving him money and promising to send his son abroad. (IANS)
