The CBI today took Odisha-based Ponzi firm Green Ray International Ltd (GRIL)’s Managing Director Mir Shahiruddin on an additional three-day remand for further interrogation.

While the CBI had sought the Special Court to take Shahiruddin on a six-day remand, the court allowed for a three-day remand.
Shahiruddin’s was produced in the court today as his earlier granted six-day remand ended.
Sources in CBI said Shahiruddin will be interrogated on his political links and links both inside and outside the country.
He will be also quizzed on his mining, gold, garment and other businesses, the sources added.
