New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today apprised the Supreme Court that its assessment criteria for Class-12 students will be factored on Class-11 and Class-10 results.
The 12-member committee of the CBSE also informed the apex court that the Class-12 results will be declared by July 31.
About 40 per cent of the marks will be based on Class-12 pre-board exams, 30 per cent marks on Class-11 final exams and rest 30 per cent on best-of-three Class 10 marks, the CBSE told the SC.
Practicals will be for 100 marks and the students will be marked based on the marks submitted by the schools.
The Supreme Court has accepted the assessment plans submitted by CBSE.
The government had on 1 June cancelled the CBSE Class-12 board exams due to the COVID-19 situation.
