CBSE results fiasco: Odisha HC directs for re-evaluation of answer sheets

In what can be termed as a ray of hope for the students and parents protesting the alleged discrepancies in the publication of CBSE Class-XII exam results, the Orissa High Court today directed the board for re-evaluation of answer sheets of 18 students who had moved the court seeking the same.

The court has asked the students to apply for re-evaluation at CBSE’s regional office in Bhubaneswar by 2 pm tomorrow.

It also directed the CBSE to conduct the re-evaluation and publish results by June 10, said Asim Amitabh Dash, petitioners’ counsel.

Notably, results of many students in Bhubaneswar zone of the board have been kept withheld.

Similarly, many students have complained of faulty evaluation leading to their poor marks.
