CBSE to release Class 10 & 12 exams schedule in January; details here

Bhubaneswar:  The date sheet for Class 10 and 12 theory examinations conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be released in the first week of January next year, confirmed board officials. The exams will commence from February 2020.

Last year, the board had preponed the exams from the first week of March  to February 21.

However, CBSE has released the schedule for Class 10 and 12 practical exams on its official website www.cbse.nic.in. The practicals will be conducted between  January 1 and February 7.

The board has also released a new circular regarding the marking scheme for the 2020 board examinations.  Accordingly, students appearing the Class 12 exam have to secure at least 33% marks in theory and practical (or project or internal assessment), each, and also an aggregate of 33% marks in each subject to pass the examination.

The board circular has declared that marks of students uploaded by their respective schools will be considered final for the board results and no requests for further rectifications will be accepted.
