CDPO in Vigilance net

Vigilance sleuths of Baleswar today arrested Manjula Rath, Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) of Tihidi block in Bhadrak district on the charge of accepting a bribe of Rs 1 lakh from Sangram Das, president of Sahayoga Self Help Group (SHG) of Mirjapur village, for clearing pending arrears amounting to Rs 8.5 lakh relating to supply of Chhatua.

The anti-corruption officials raided the residence of Rath at Tihidi market and seized the bribe money.
The CDPO was later arrested.
Odisha Vigilance department is not at all working satisfactorily.
I have submitted a written complaint dated 25.10. 2013 with all relevant documents of all property to the additional director general, vigilance cuttack against one class three government servant for accumulating unaccountable movable and immovable property approximately rs 3,00,00,00/- ( Rs Three Crore ) including one petrol pump in his wife’s name) but till date no action is being taken even after repeated reminder.
