Chargesheet filed against Archana Nag in film producer Akshay Parija blackmail case

Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police has filed chargesheet against honey-trap kingpin Archana Nag before the court of JMFC 3, Bhubaneswar in Nayapalli Police Station case no. 646/2022, registered on a complaint lodged by film producer Akshay Parija.

The 501-page chargesheet has been submitted against Nag under Sections 384, 385, 388, 389, 500, 506 and 120-B of the IPC and Sections 66E, 67 and 67A of the I-T Act, said a senior police official.

The Commissionerate Police has prayed before the court to keep the investigation open for collection of more evidences in the case, he added.

“The Commissionerate Police will submit supplementary chargesheet against Nag after completion of the investigation,” said the official.

Notably, Parija had lodged a complaint with the Nayapalli police on allegations that Archana and her husband sought Rs 3 crore from him by blackmailing him with a video of the intimate moments between him and a woman.
