Chem question instead of Math: Plus II exam delayed at several colleges in Odisha

In an unusual incident, Plus II exams were delayed at several colleges in Odisha today as Chemistry question papers were sent to the centres instead of Mathematics.

According to reports, such incidents came to fore in BJB college at Gadarodanga near Brahmagiri in Puri district and some other colleges after seals of the question papers were opened.

Mathematics exams were later conducted at these colleges after question papers of the subject were brought from nearby colleges. The photocopies of the question papers were distributed among the students.

“Such irregularities have been reported at 6-7 colleges. Concerned colleges have been asked to send back these question papers,” Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) exam controller Biranchi Narayan Mishra said.

“Seals of question papers were supposed to be opened at 9.30 am, but why the centre authorities remained silent till 11 am,” he asked.

The matter will be examined and action will be take thereafter, he added.
