Chennai-bound flight makes emergency landing at Bhubaneswar airport

Bhubaneswar: A Chennai-bound IndiGo flight made an emergency landing at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) here today after a three-month-old baby passenger fell sick in the aircraft.

The ailing infant was immediately rushed to the Capital Hospital for medical treatment.

According to reports, IndiGo 6E905 had taken off at 7.20 am from Guwahati. It contacted the Air Traffic control of the BPIA for an emergency landing after the infant suffered a pain.

The flight of the private airline made an emergency landing at 10.30 am at the Bhubaneswar airport.
