Chhattisgarh BJP leader arrested in Odisha for distributing money

Bhawanipatna, Feb 21:

Odisha police today arrested nine persons including a BJP leader from Chhattisgarh on charges of distributing money in a village under Thuamul Rampur block in Kalahandi district.

The Chhattisgarh BJP leader, identified as Lokesh Kawadia, state BJP NGO Cell Secretary, along with other eight were allegedly distributing money in a poll bound area and were detained by Kalahandi police yesterday.

Police have seized Rs 2,11,000 in cash and four vehicles from their possession.
