Children in Odisha’s Puri pay homage to victims of Peshawar attack

Odisha Sun Times Bureau
Puri, Dec 17:

Hundreds of school children gathered at the beach here today to pay tributes to the children who were killed in the terrorist attack on a school on Peshawar in Pakistan yesterday before a five feet high sand sculpture created by internationally acclaimed Odisha based sculptor Sudarsan Pattnaik.

The sand sculpture, titled “HEINOUS CRIME, SHAME TO HUMANITY”, depicts injured school children with blood oozing out of their faces with the theme written in capitals on an open book and a few wreaths placed near it.

“I condemn the terrorist attack in Pakistan and Australia,” said Pattnaik.
