Cine star Akash Das Nayak joins BJD

Not content with having roped in superstar Anubhav Mohanty, Mihir Das and Satykai Mishra and comedian Pappu Pam Pam, the BJD today inducted cine star Akash Das Nayak into the party.

Akash joined the BJD in the presence of party president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Berhampur MP Sidhant Mohapatra and Rajya Sabha MP Dillip Tirkey at Naveen Niwas here.

The cine star said he was inspired by Naveen Patnaik and his development work in the last 14 years in the state. He left the decision on contesting election on the party chief.

It is to be noted that many cine stars including Anubhav Mohanty, Papu Pom Pom, Mihir Das, Satyaki Mishra have already in the Naveen camp, who either contest the election or campaign for the party to attract voters with their star power.
