Civic body official in Odisha Vigilance net on DA charges

Khordha: An official of Khordha Municipal Council came under Vigilance scanner on charges of possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

The sleuths of Bhubaneswar Vigilance division today raided the houses of Sadasiba Swain, Assistant Tax Collector of Khordha Municipality Office, in different places in Khordha district following the search warrant issued by the Special Judge Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.

The searches were carried out simultaneously at his residences in Gurujang.

Till the last report came in, the raids were underway to detect his unaccounted wealth.
