Classes suspended for 2 days at Rajendra University after COVID detection

Balangir: Physical classes were suspended for a period of two days at Rajendra University here in the district after detection of COVID-19 case in hostel.

“No physical class will be held at the Rajendra University for two days after a student staying in PG hostel tested positive for COVID-19. The infectee is in home isolation. The swab samples of other students have been collected and sent for COVID test,” informed Vice Chancellor Sanjay Kumar Satapathy today.

During suspension of the classes, entire campus will be sanitised to prevent further spread of COVID infection.
