Cloudy weather to prevail in Odisha till Feb 9

Bhubaneswar: With rain soaked many parts of Odisha, the cold and cloudy weather is likely to prevail across the state till February 9.

According to Bhubaneswar MeT, coastal and northern parts of the state may receive light to moderate rainfall today and such weather conditions will continue in next four days.

The yellow warning has been issued for many places over the districts of Balangir, Boudh, Kandhamal, Sonepur, Angul, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Deogarh, Sundargarh and Keonjhar where thunderstorm may occur today.

Many places in coastal region of the state may witness light rainfall tomorrow. On Feb 7 and 8, several places in Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Sambalpur and Jharsuguda may receive light to moderate rain.

Besides, the regional meteorological centre has predicted rain at one or two places in Khordha, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kandhamal, Nayagarh and Balangir districts on Feb 7 and 8. Such conditions may prevail till next day.
