CM announces Rs 10 lakh ex gratia for families of martyred Odisha jawans
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today announced an ex gratia of Rs 10 lakh each for the families of the two CRPF jawans from the state who died in the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district yesterday.
Earlier in the day, the CM spoke to the bereaved family members of martyred Prasanna Sahoo of Shikhar village in Jagatsinghpur district and Manoj Behera of Ratanpur village in Cuttack district over telephone and conveyed his deep sympathy towards them.

Patnaik later observed an one-minute silence prayer at the State Secretariat paying tribute to the martyred jawans.
He also directed Finance Minister Sashi Bhusan Behera and Health Minister Pratap Jena to pay visit to the two families today.
