CM Naveen appeals private schools to consider reduction of fees

Bhubaneswar:  After appealing  to house owners to waive off rent for three months, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today advised all private educational institutions across the state to consider reduction or deferment of school fees.

He  called upon all private educational institutions in the state to be sympathetic considering reduction or deferment of school fees from April to June.

It will be of great help for parents, whose income has been adversely affected due to the lockdown and associated economic stress following coronavirus outbreak, the CM said in a tweet,

Yesterday, the CM announced that all schools and other educational institutions will remain closed till June 17 in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Meanwhile, the state Government also decided to promote Class 9 students to Class 10 without conducting examination of the rest one subject.
