CM Naveen to address poll meetings in 4 south Odisha districts on May 4

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to address public meetings in four districts of south Odisha on May 4 to canvass for the ruling BJD ahead of the simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in the state.

Patnaik will address public meetings in Koraput, Nabarangpur, Rayagada and Gajapati district for the upcoming twin polls on Saturday, said sources in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) today.

The Chief Minister will reach Jeypore Airport in Koraput district in a flight from the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in the capital city here at around 10 am on May 4.

He will fly to OMP Ground at Koraput form Jeypore Airport in a chopper and address a public meeting at around 10.30 am.

Thereafter, the Chief Minister will travel to Nabarangpur to address a public meeting at around 11.40 am to seek support for the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) in the 2024 polls.

Patnaik is scheduled to address a poll meeting at Tikiri in Rayagada district in the afternoon.

Before returning to the capital city in the evening, the Chief Minister will speak at a public meeting at Paralakhemundi in Gajapati district as part of his campaign for the ruling party ahead of the Parliamentary and Assembly polls in the state.
