CM Naveen to attend all-party meet in New Delhi

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to visit New Delhi tomorrow to attend a meeting of presidents of all political parties in the Parliament.

The meeting, scheduled to begin at 3 pm, will have discussion on five key issues, including One Nation, One Election, ways to improve productivity of Parliament, building of New India in the 75th years on Independence, Programme and commitments to celebrate Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary and development of aspirational districts.

Presidents of all parties will keep their views on the above subjects and can also raise any other issue of national relevance. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given his consent to be present at the meeting.

This will be Patnaik’s second visit to the national capital after  assuming the office as the Chief Minister of Odisha for the fifth consecutive term. Earlier on June 9, he had paid a week-long official visit to New Delhi and met President Ram Nath Kovind, PM Modi and several Union Ministers.
