CM Naveen to attend Investors’ Meet in Mumbai

Bhubaneswar: A high-level delegation led by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will leave for Mumbai to attend the Investors’ Meet on August 8 to encourage business tycoons for investment in Odisha.

Ahead of Make in Odisha conclave scheduled from November 11 to 15 in Odisha, Patnaik will campaign in the country’s business capital with a purpose to make it successful.

As Odisha slipped in ‘Ease of Doing Business’, the government is preparing plans to attract investors for industrial growth in the State in upcoming days.

Notably, Odisha has slipped three places, from 11th to 14th, in the Government of India’s ‘Ease of Doing Business’ rankings jointly prepared by the World Bank and the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) this year.

The State has been ranked under the “Achievers” category with a total score of 92.09 per cent out of 100 per cent. The State’s last year score was 92.17 per cent.
