CM to inaugurate 3-day Odisha Travel Bazaar 2023-24 tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will virtually inaugurate the flagship exhibition ‘Odisha Travel Bazaar (OTB) 2023-24’ on February 7.

Odisha Tourism Department and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) will jointly host the 5th Edition of OTB from February 7 to 9 at Eco Retreat Konark to champion tourism in the State by forging networks and collaborations across India and globally.

The primary objective of Odisha Travel Bazaar will be to create a platform for the aggressive promotion of tourist destinations in the State to domestic buyers from India as well as the international market.

Strategic actions are being taken in this regard by the Government to make Odisha a diverse tourism hub of global standards by pitching a refreshingly new vision of the State.

The event will focus on B2B meetings between the tourism fraternity of Odisha (sellers) with Domestic Tour Operators (DTOs) and Foreign Tour Operators (FTOs) followed by familiarisation trips to various tourist destinations in Odisha. B2B Meetings with the investors and Airline Operators will be conducted at the event. Sellers will get a chance to exhibit their products during the 3-day exhibition.

In this regard, a press conference was organised in Bhubaneswar. OTDC Chairman Lenin Mohanty spoke to the media and highlighted the efforts being made by Odisha Tourism to boost tourist footfalls, and the need for a proactive partnership of stakeholders of the travel and tourism industry to popularise unexplored destinations of the State.
