Cold wave warning issued for these Odisha districts today

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre here has issued cold wave warning for six districts of Odisha for today.

Cold wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Bolangir, Bargarh, Sonepur, Kalahandi and Nuapada, it forecasted and issued Yellow Warning in this regard.

“Northwesterly/ northerly dry and cold wind at lower levels penetrating over Odisha and under its influence isolated cold wave very likely over some parts of interior Odisha during next two days,” it said.

Temperature Forecast: No large change in minimum temperature (night temperature) during next 2 days and gradual rise by 2 to 3 degree Celsius in subsequent 3 days over the districts of Odisha. Also, minimum temperature will be below normal likely by 3 to 5 degree Celsius at most places over the districts of Odisha during next 2 days.
