Collection of property tax deferred for three months in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: In view the situation due to spread of deadly COVID-19, the Housing and Urban Development department today deferred collection of property or holding tax for three months.

In a letter, Director of Municipal Administration Sangramjit Nayak directed to the Municipal Commissioners and Executive Officers to execute the decision.

Also, the letter said there will be no penalty for delay in paying the dues after March 31, 2020.
