College girl dies of snakebite in Odisha

Phulbani: In a tragic incident, a college girl died of snakebite at Mandarpadar village under Sarangada police limits in Kandhamal district today.

The deceased has been identified as 18-year-old Jarjanika Burbi, daughter of one Murari Burbi of Mandarpadar village. She was a Plus Two Final Year student.

Sources said Jarjanika was sleeping last night when a venomous snake entered the house and bite her. She was rushed to Kandhamal District Headquarters (DHH). However, she died while undergoing treatment at the hospital this morning.
