College girl found dead inside bamboo bush in Odisha

Balasore: Mystery shrouded the death of a college girl, whose body was found with her throat slit from a bamboo bush near Naraharipur village under Remuna block in Balasore district today.

The girl was a Plus-III student of Remuna Degree College here.

Earlier in the day, the girl’s father lodged a complaint at Remuna police station alleging that she has been kidnapped by a youth of same village.

Though the exact reason behind the death is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that she has been killed by some miscreants over ‘love affair’. However, no police official was available to comment on the matter till last reports came in.
